McD Semanggi, Henny's day <3

 Yesterday was Henny's birthday, and after office hour she took me and Via to the nearest McD. It was not kind of a Big Fancy "Dinner" in the Classy Restaurant. We were just surround our table full of guilty pleasure (read : junk food, oh My French Fries, dan kulit ayam!!! haha...), cheap jokes, masih kebayang waktu Via ngomong "CUCI MUKA PAKE KENTANG GORENG" or when we were making fun of how crazy some people in our office are, and laughing about it, hahaha...parahlah.
Tapi serius deh, bahagia gak harus mahal.

Hari ini, ada acara kantor, semacam ritual tahunan gitu : TUKER KADO. Rulesnya kita secara random ambil nama masing-masing di divisi kita, keep it in mind (like secretly) dan nanti kado nya dibungkus koran dan ditulis nama yang akan kita kasih kado tersebut. Well, gw kebagian untuk kasih kado ke Isti.

Gw masih inget, beberapa hari sebelumnya, gw (sok) sibuk banget sampe gak sempet untuk nyari kado buat Isti. Gw sempet beberapa kali tanya ke semua orang, mereka mau kado apa (biar gak curiga) dan Isti bilang dia mau sweater rajut.



Di H-2 gw sempet mampir sebentar ke Cibubur Junction pulang kerja, ada kali sampe jam 9 malem masih nyari-nyari apa ya yang cocok buat Isti, dan akhirnya.nemu sweater pink ini. Hopefully She will like it. ^^


TERUS INDAH DAPET APA, NDAH?

Voucher MAP IDR 150k

Diantara yang lainnya dapet barang, gw dapet voucher MAP senilai IDR 150,000. Bukannya gak bersyukur, tapi jujur sih, gw lebih suka dikasih barang. Lebih keliatan aja "EFFORT" atau USAHA nya dia untuk kasih kado ke temen. Dibandingkan, "nih voucher, lo bisa pake buat apa aja, simple, beres". Meh -______-

Akhirnya itu voucher gw jual dengan harga yang lebih murah, biar cepet laku aja sih. Males gw ahaha....

Sampe sekarang gw masih belom tau siapa yang ngasih voucher ke gw. Tapi ayolah Dude, semua juga punya kesibukan dan waktu yang sama. Mereka masih sempet memikirkan "APA YA YANG BAGUS DAN DISUKAIN SAMA SI "INI"? REPOT REPOT NYARI BARANG NYA, BUT YOU????"

*deep sigh*

Iya sih, gak semua orang bisa menghargai Usaha dan Effort seseorang, Gw lebih milih dikasih barang dengan harga dibawah voucher itu sih ketimbang sesuatu yang bersifat "Simple aja, beres. Yang penting ada."

Usaha untuk nyari barang itu small things banget keliatannya, karena mereka berpikir, YANG PENTING ADA KADO PADA HARI H!

But you know what? I APPRECIATE EFFORT No matter how small, silly or simple it is, I APPRECIATE EFFORT.

I still remember, in the middle of 2008, Bert McCracken was singing this song right in front of my nose! :p

Sepanjang nih lagu dimainin Live, kayanya gw sing along sambil mewek deh, saking gak percaya The Used dateng ke Jakarta dan jadi juga gw sama Datu ke konsernya.

Probably, that was the best part of my musical journey.. (**walaupun pas pulang badan gw udah pada biru-biru karna ke"senggol" sana sini tapi mending sih, si Datu malah kepalanya sampe ketimpuk sepatu orang pas crowd sekitar lagi pada moshing..haha.

Season 6 is already teasing a huge death, so who will it be?

Excited banget karena sebentar lagi, Game of Thrones (GoT) season 6 akan dimulai! Saya masih inget ketika pertama kali, Jehan meracuni saya sama series ini..haha. Awalnya saya sama sekali gak tertarik, apalagi kalo buatan Amrik, kan rada-rada vulgar gitu ya, but nope, this is not about the nudity scenes-nya sih yang dicari, tapi emang seru dan gak ketebak banget jalan ceritanya.

Me : Jadi lo punya film apa aja, Je? Mau dong copy..
Him : Tuh, semua di folder movie, lo pilih aja yang lo mau
Me : Okay, thank you Jehan :)
**beberapa menit kemudian...

Me : Kok sizenya besar banget sih Je, perasaan gw cuma copy beberapa film aja
Him : *looked out at my laptop* Oo..pantesan, yang series lo copy juga
Me : Oia. Yah..kalo series males ah gw 
*ternyata di folder series itu, selain GoT ada juga series Running Man sampe 100an episode, pantes gede sizenya~~haha

Me : GoT bagus gak sih, Je? Udah kadung di copy, sayang kalo dihapus
Him : Bagus. Gw sih suka sama jalan ceritanya. Coba aja tonton dulu.

Sebenernya saya gak pernah sekalipun menyangsikan rekomend nya Jehan. He has a very good taste about music and movie :)

Dan berawal dari ke-tidaksengajaan itu, sampailah saya disini, salah satu big fans dari GoT.  Saking sukanya, saya sampe beli novelnya loh dan saking sukanya juga sama karakter Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), saya sampe hunting Vinyl Figure-nya (lumayan susah nyarinya), dan akhirnya dapet dengan harga yang lumayan... haha (thanks Frederick Tan).

Untuk season 6 ini, di twitter udah bertebaran quiz bertema "Who will die or who will live in this season?" dan buat saya, udah gak perduli deh mau siapa juga yang terbunuh.

 Cukuplah ketika baru aja season 1 mulai, eh Ned Stark (Sean Bean) terpenggal, then I went "IS HE REALLY DEAD?????!! SERIOUSLY?? I thought that He's the main character!" dan Jehan cuma ketawa-ketawa aja, sambil bilang, "Yoi. kalo nonton GoT, sebaiknya gak usah punya karakter fav deh, ntar malah bikin sakit hati dan sebaiknya jauhin internet, banyak spoiler..haha.."

Gak berhenti disitu, episode yang paling bikin menyayat hati udah pasti saat THE RED WEDDING! Buat yang suka GoT juga, pasti setuju deh sama saya..hehehe.

Dan finally, saya harus nunggu setahun, menantikan season 5 cuma untuk mendapatkan salah satu karakter fav saya, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) terbunuh di akhir episode... (*Huaaaaaa... dam* you Oppa Martin!!!).

Fyi, pada tahun 2013, 2015, dan 2016 Game of Thrones menjadi salah satu nominasi pada kategori Best Television Series - Drama di penghargaan Golden Globe, sedangkan Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) memenangkan penghargaan sebagai Best Performance by an Actors in a Supporting Role pada tahun 2012. Sementara Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) sejak tahun 2011 sudah berhasil memenangkan hati saya. Uhuk... hahaha

Selain banyak artikel yang membahas mengenai prediksi dan sop iler spoiler GoT, di youtube juga banyak banget bloopers video GoT, and all the cast are totally insane! (**my fav one is when Tyrion dancing during his judgement day on GoT season 4, kocak bangett itu...haha).

On Game Of Thrones, only two word matter : Valar Morghulis, a valyrian proverb, meaning "All Men Must Die". When it comes to GoT, no one is safe. So, it's not really a wise idea to get attached to any one character, either STARK or otherwise.

But also, none is truly dead until their head ends up on a pike, right Jon Snow? (**masih ngarep Jon Snow balik lagi diseason ini :p

Maybe something don't get better, but we do.
We get stronger.
We learn to live with our situation as MESSY and UGLY as they are.
We fix what we CAN and we adapt to what we CAN'T.
Maybe some of us will never be fully OKAY, but at least we're here.
We're still trying.

Cover version song instead of the original ones?

Mostly the original version are much better, but let's say after months, listening to same old song over and over again, will be becomes boring after a while.

When this happens to you, you're left with a choice : The Cover Version Song!

The cover version song is a new remake of a previously recorded, commercially released song, by someone other than the original artist or composer. (wikipedia.com)

Sometimes, an artist makes it not only copy the original song, but improves it and brings a "new soul" to the song. Some cover versions being more successful recording than the original song, because the artist has manage their job incredibly. But some of them, have just produce a cheap plagiarism. Depends. :D

This song was inspired by Amy Lee's sister death from cancer. When she was six yo, and her sister was three yo.

this song always hits me hard everytime i hear Amy's amazing voice.
Sigh. there's always a reason why we falling in love with someone, but when they're gone, it's hard to fall out of love and trapped forever by their memories.

Okay.. I strat to cry now. hehehe.
To wipe away the tears from someone that you loved so much. or even to fight everything that scares them.

Dalam video klip lagu ini, efek "bands" yang terlilit di tangan dan kaki Amy juga menimbulkan interpretasi tentang "suicide"..banyak yang berpendapat, bahwa lagu ini juga mengangkat issue "teenage suicide".

Again. This song is talking about someone watching the one they love die, or walked away. Yet the presence still lingers in their mind and soul.
